One wedding isn't enough for the Hollywood Heavy Hitters. Twice is nice when talking weddings.
Everyone from Gwen and Gavin to Salma Hayek and Tom Brady are getting married twice to the same person. Two wedding ceremonies are becoming more common as celebrities continue festivities across the country and across the world. Tom Brady & Giselle BundchenNew England Patriot’s quarterback Tom Brady and his model wife, Giselle Bundchen, kept not one but two wedding ceremonies under wraps and largely away from the public and paparazzi eyes. The first ceremony was a small Catholic ceremony at St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, California in February. The second wedding was held in Costa Rica, where Bundchen owns a home. The bride wore a white gown, had a 10-foot veil and carried white orchids during the sunset ceremony. Salma Hayek & Francois-Henry PinaultThis on-again, off-couple of three years became engaged in March 2007 when it was announced Hayek was pregnant. However, when daughter Valentina was 10 months old the couple abruptly called off their engagement. Pinault and Hayek were still often seen spending time together with their daughter and rumors started flying about a possible reconciliation. On Valentine’s Day 2009, the couple tied the knot in front of 12 guests at the famed 6th Arrondisement City Hall in Paris. Hayek and Pinault went all out with a much larger second ceremony on April 25th, 2009 at Venice, Italy opera house La Fenice. This time around, Hayek wore a Balenciaga gown, her hair in a bun with a long veil and carried a bouquet of orchids and stephanotis with crystals. The 150 invited guests included Ashley Judd, Bono, Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend, Anna Wintour, David Blaine, and Former French President Jacque Chirac. Guests donned black and gold masks for the ceremony. Gwen Stefani and Gavin RossdaleNo Doubt front-woman Gwen Stefani and Bush lead singer Gavin Rossdale dated for six years before Rossdale popped the question in early 2002. The first of two ceremonies followed in September of that same year in London. The always-fashion-forward Stefani was classic-with-a-twist in her custom made Dior wedding gown designed by John Galliano. The dress was white silk on top but faded into pink towards the bottom and underneath. The lovebirds then flew back to Los Angeles and had a vow renewal in front of family and friends that couldn’t make it to the London nuptials. Guests, including Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt, were instructed to “dress romantic” for the vow renewal where Stefani donned her custom white and pink dress again.
